Pordenone is a beautiful, modern, curious and entertaining town: you can explore the old town on foot and let yourself be seduced by the charm of historical buildings and porticos as well as the poetry of frescoes that seem to tell the history of this centre like pages of a book.
Pordenone has a lot of green areas too, like for example the Galvani Park, which includes the residence of the Galvani family, built in the late eighteenth century. The park of the villa features a regular layout and a pond flanked by the MIRA - Itinerary Museum of the Ancient Rose - an open-air museum where visitors can walk along a path and admire a variety of roses and bushes arranged to trace the history of rose and its family tree.
